Your private album allows you to share photos and videos quickly and easily with other members. For more details on using and managing your private album, please see the topics provided below:
- From any grid, tap the albums icon
on the menu bar.
- Tap Private on the main nav bar.

- Select a source for your photo or video.
Your Private Album is hidden to other members by default. To make it available to specific members, you must first share it with them. (2)
Share your Private Album
- Go to the member's profile
- Tap on the padlock
(located under the Favorites star)
- You will receive a confirmation dialog; after confirming the share, the padlock will transition to unlocked
while your Private Album is shared with the member
TIP
Quickly share your album without confirmation, briefly tap and hold the album button.
- The member will be sent a push notification indicating that you have shared your Private Album with them (3)
Un-share your Private Album with an individual member
From a profile
- Tap the unlocked padlock
- The padlock button will become locked
to indicate that your Private Album has been un-shared

There are two ways to view a member's Private Album once it has been shared with you:
From a member profile (4)
- Tap the member's profile photo to open their profile photo gallery. The member's public profile photos will be displayed first by default.
- Tap a thumbnail to view the photo.
From Albums
Add or edit a caption, save or move photos and videos in your private album.
- From the main grids, tap Albums
on the main nav bar.
- Select Private Album on the main nav bar.
- Tap on the photo thumbnail you wish to edit to open it.
- Select
or LONG-PRESS on the full-size photo:
- CAPTION: Select Caption to add or edit a caption on your photo
- SAVE TO ALBUM: Tap Save to Album to save the photo to your device's photos app
- SAVE TO DEVICE: Tap Save to Device to save the photo to your device's photos app-- you may only save your own photos to your device
- MOVE TO OTHER ALBUM: Tap Move to move your photo to another SCRUFF album
Delete photos and videos in your private album.
- From the main grid, tap Albums
on the main nav bar.
- Tap Private Album on the main nav bar.
- Tap Delete
on the photo thumbnail you wish to delete.
- Confirm you wish to delete the photo.
RECENT ALBUM
SCRUFF keeps a list of recently sent photos and videos from all of your devices, so you can send your favorites in chat even faster.
Free members can send the last two recently sent photos or videos. Subscribe to SCRUFF Pro to send unlimited recent photos and videos.

ALBUMS
SCRUFF Pro members can create and access albums containing photos and videos stored on their profile, available from all devices. This provides a discreet alternative to your device's photo gallery / camera roll. Photos are organized in albums which you can create and manage. These photos can be sent to other members in chat via the albums icon.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Free members can share up to 2 photos in their Private Album, while SCRUFF Pro members can share an unlimited number of photos in their Private Album.
- Free members can share their Private Album with up to 20 profiles at once. A notification will be displayed once this limit is reached, and you will need to un-share your Private Album with one or more members before you can share it with others. SCRUFF Pro members can share their Private Album with an unlimited number of profiles.
- Unlocking your Private Album shares ALL of the photos in that album. It is not possible to share or un-share individual photos in your private album.
- An un-locked album icon will appear in the upper-left corner of on profiles that have shared their Private Album with you
- Free members can see only the 20 most recently shared Private Albums here. SCRUFF Pro members can view the full list of profiles sharing their Private Album from this list
- Access to a member's shared Private Album is available from their profile regardless of Free/Pro status
