Your profile must:
- Have a clear face image on your profile
- Have 'Open to' field completed on profile
SCRUFF Match is powered by the Open To section of your profile.
To ensure you see the kind of guys you are into, make sure you have completed the Open To section of your profile correctly.
If you indicate that you are Open To either Dates or Relationships, you will only see other guys who have also indicated that they are open to either Dates or Relationships.
If you do not include either Dates or Relationships in the Open To section of your profile, you will only see guys who are open to things other than Dates or Relationships. For example, if you are open to Random Play/NSA and Friendships, you may see other guys open to one of: Friendships, Random Play/NSA, Chat Only or Networking, but you won't see guys open to Dates or Relationships.
SCRUFF Match requires that all members upload face pics. If you do not have a face pic, you won't be able to use SCRUFF Match, and your profile will not be presented to other guys using SCRUFF Match.
SCRUFF Match images are a 'zoomed in' copy of a member's full-size profile image, based on the crop area chosen for their thumbnail image. On occasion, a member may not crop their thumbnail on the portion of their profile image that clearly shows their face. As a result, the image in SCRUFF Match may not display their face completely.
This can most often be remedied by using the 'scale photo' feature, which can be toggled by tapping the scale image icon (two arrows) in the top right corner of the SCRUFF Match card image to change the image view to the member's full-size image.
If you prefer to view full-size profile images in SCRUFF Match by default, you can enable the scale photo feature by doing the following in SCRUFF:
- Tap Menu > Settings > App Preferences > Match: Toggled ON
- Tap Settings > App Preferences > Match:Toggled ON
If you encounter images in your SCRUFF Match stack that do not include a clear face and is not resolved by using the 'scale photo' feature, please flag it as "No face". By doing so you are helping us weed out mis-categorized or oddly cropped photos. We anticipate that these images will become much less common going forward.
You can view your Matches anytime by selecting the Matches icon in the upper right corner of the SCRUFF Match screen.
Blocking works the same in SCRUFF Match as it does in SCRUFF. If you block a profile, it will not be presented in your match stack and your profile will not be presented in his match stack.
