Bear Mode is an experimental set of two browsing modes, "Single Bear" 🐻 and "Double Bear" 🐻 🐻. Both modes auto-apply community and community interest filters to show you more bears and bear chasers in the Global, Nearby, and Search grids. "Double Bear" adds body mass index and body hair filters for bears, but not for chasers.
When set, both "Single Bear" and "Double Bear" browse modes are automatically applied to the Global grid, optionally applied to the Nearby grid (set toggle to on), and optionally applied to the Search grid (add Browse Mode as a Search parameter)
Body mass index (BMI) = weight / height^2 (metric)
Bear Mode has its own Bear flag-inspired accent color scheme, which overrides both free (blue) and Pro (red) coloring
Besides auto-filtering and color scheme changes, Bear Mode does not enable, disable, or otherwise alter free or Pro functionality
Bear Mode can be disabled at any time by navigating to Browse Mode in App Preferences and selecting “Unset”
Bear Mode is experimental. It may change substantially before it goes live, or not go live at all
There are scenarios where no search results will be returned when doing searches that apply a Bear Mode setting in conjunction with the individual filters upon which Bear Mode is based (“I am”, “I am into”, weight, height, body hair)
You are strongly encouraged to report bugs and offer feedback via in-app ticket (Settings > Contact SCRUFF Support > Send Feedback). Be sure to mention that your feedback is about Bear Mode.
