If you receive a connection error when attempting to open SCRUFF or load grids, please see the following information for additional details on testing your connection in SCRUFF or via mobile browser.
- Tap Test from the connection error dialog
- Tap Run to start the connection test
- Take a screenshot or tap Copy to clipboard
SOLUTIONS
- If tests 1-3 all fail, you may not have an active data connection, try restarting your device.
- If test 2 or 3 fail, your carrier may be blocking access to SCRUFF on your current data network. Try switching to WiFi or Mobile data, and connect to SCRUFF again.
- If you are still unable to connect to SCRUFF after trying the suggestions above, please obtain your IP address and contact SCRUFF Support below.

If you receive this error message while viewing SCRUFF Support, SCRUFF will still work properly, but certain operations may be delayed. Data ports are managed by the router (or service provider) of your current data connection.
SOLUTIONS
- You can try switching to mobile data, WiFi or vice-versa to see if that resolves your issue.
- If you continue to receive port blocked error messages in SCRUFF after changing your connection type, you should contact your carrier or service provider for additional assistance.
