My favorites / messages disappeared after updating SCRUFF
First, don't worry! Along with the rest of your profile, favorites and messages are stored on SCRUFF servers — they have not been lost or deleted!
If your favorites or messages are not appearing in SCRUFF after upgrading to a new version and you do not see a "Loading" spinner in the center of the screen, just pull down on the Favorites or Messages grid. This will refresh communication with the SCRUFF servers to correctly display your favorites or messages.
If refreshing the grid doesn't do the trick, you can force a refresh of all profile data by performing the following:
- Open SCRUFF and tap Account
- Tap Settings
- Tap Device
- Tap Clear Device Cache
- An information dialogue will appear. Tap Clear where prompted
- When processing has finished, close SCRUFF from iOS multitasking
- Relaunch SCRUFF
