Android 7.0 or greater required
Effective September 2022:
To ensure compatibility with the latest Android versions and devices and to facilitate ongoing improvements to SCRUFF features, reliability, and performance-- SCRUFF version 6.7400.0 will be the last supported version for devices on Android 5.0 and 6.0.
Android 7.0 (Nougat) or higher is required in order to create a new profile, upload new profile photos -or- update to newer versions of SCRUFF.
Members with devices on Android 5.0 or 6.0 will still have access to their current profile on version 6.7400.00 but will no longer receive updates for newer versions of SCRUFF.
To check the version of Android on your device:
- Open the Settings App.
- Tap About or About Phone.
- Scroll down to Version.
- To update to newer versions of SCRUFF, the Android version number on your device must be greater than or equal to 7.0.
If you can upgrade your device to Android 7.0+ or a new device running Android 7.0+ you will be able to install newer versions SCRUFF.
All favorites, messages, blocks, PRO subscriptions, etc. are associated with your profile and will be automatically transferred and enabled on the new device once you have successfully logged in to your current SCRUFF profile.
