Audible alert settings on iOS devices

You can enable or disable audible alerts in iOS, SCRUFF or both by following the steps provided below.

To ensure audible alerts are always disabled or enabled, please ensure you have confirmed both iOS Notification Settings and SCRUFF audio preferences below.

 

The following steps will only enable/disable audible alerts while SCRUFF is in the background:

  1. From your home screen, locate and open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Open the Notifications menu.
  3. Locate Scruff in app list and tap it.
  • ENABLE SOUNDSSounds toggled OFF
  • DISABLE SOUNDSSounds toggled ON

The following steps will only enable/disable audible alerts only while SCRUFF is in the foreground/open:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Select App Preferences.
  • ENABLE SOUNDS: Notification Cues - No Audio toggled OFF 
  • DISABLE SOUNDS: Notification Cues - No Audio toggled ON 
  • Press < Back to save your update.
