Clear app cache on Android

App cache is stored temporary data designed to make SCRUFF (and other apps) perform faster and load content quicker. In some instances SCRUFF Support may ask you to clear your app cache to resolve performance issues, such as thumbnails or photos not loading.

For details on how to clear app cache on Android, see the steps below. Note that these steps may vary slightly based on your version of Android and / or device.

From your device's home screen:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps.
  3. Find SCRUFF and tap it.
  4. Tap Storage.
  5. Tap Clear cache.
  6. Clear cache will turn grey when your cache for SCRUFF has been cleared.

NOTE: When you launch SCRUFF after clearing app cache, you will launch to the login screen. Simply enter your profile email and password to log back in to SCRUFF.
