Disable or enable push notifications (Android)

To receive notifications when guys send you messages, albums, woofs, etc. in SCRUFF, you will need to ensure that SCRUFF has access to notifications in Android. On Android 4.2 or higher, you can disable and / or enable push notifications using the steps provided below:  

 

Disable Push Notifications

  1. Tap the Apps icon on your home screen
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Apps or App Manager (2)
  4. Scroll down and tap SCRUFF
  5. Tap Notifications
  6. Confirm Block all is toggled ON (Samsung / other devices, Toggle Allow Notifications OFF)
  7. Restart your device

Enable Push Notifications

  1. Tap the Apps icon on your home screen
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Apps or App Manager (2)
  4. Scroll down and tap SCRUFF
  5. Tap Notifications
  6. Confirm Block all is toggled OFF (Samsung / other devices, Toggle Allow Notifications ON)
  7. Restart your device

 

NOTES

  1. Push notifications may also require support from your cell phone or wireless carrier
  2. The menu layout of Android devices vary per device and version of Android installed. If your menus do not match up exactly to what you see below, it's ok, simply use them as a guide
