To access your SCRUFF profile on a new device, additional device, or after deleting and re-installing the app on your current device, you must log in to SCRUFF using the email and password associated with your profile. Once you log in, all of your messages, favorites, woofs/views, profile details, purchases**, etc. will then be loaded to and available on the device.

** PURCHASES: There are important differences in how Pro subscriptions and credits work on iOS and Android. If you made purchases and wish to access your SCRUFF profile on a different platform, refer to the Transfer & Share FAQs.

To access your profile after installing SCRUFF on a new device (or after re-installing on your current device):

1. Launch SCRUFF
2. Open the Settings menu (Android: MENU > Settings). You should receive a “Welcome to SCRUFF” alert the first time you open the Settings menu after installing:

• Tap Existing if you see this alert
• Tap Login if you do not see this alert
• Refer to the next section if another profile is already logged into SCRUFF on your device
• The Login screen will appear
• Tap Email. Enter the email associated your profile. Tap Done when finished
• Tap Password. Enter the password associated with your profile. Tap Done when finished
• Tap the Login button *

To access your profile if another profile is already logged in to SCRUFF on your device:

1. Launch SCRUFF
2. Open the Settings menu (Android: MENU > Settings)
3. Scroll to the "Device" section
4. Tap Transfer & Share
5. Tap the Login button

• Android: MENU > Login
• iOS: Login (upper-right corner of the screen)
• Tap Email. Enter the email associated your profile. Tap Done when finished
• Tap Password. Enter the password associated with your profile. Tap Done when finished
• Tap the Login button *

If the login is successful, the previous profile will automatically be logged out of SCRUFF on that device

* IMPORTANT: If SCRUFF does not recognize your login information, please double-check what you have entered and refer to this article.

To log out / remove the association between your SCRUFF profile and your previous device, do the following in SCRUFF on your new device after successfully logging in:

1. Open the Settings menu (Android: MENU > Settings)
2. Scroll to the “Devices” section
3. Tap Manage Devices. Both your previous and current devices will be listed. Your current device will have the text “(this device)” in the description.
4. To remove your previous device, locate it in the list and tap it
5. Tap Remove when prompted
6. You may safely delete the SCRUFF app from your previous device **

** IMPORTANT: Deleting the SCRUFF app is different from deleting your SCRUFF profile! Deleting the app will remove the association between your profile and the device, effectively logging you out of SCRUFF on that device. Deleting your SCRUFF profile (Settings > Delete Profile) will delete your profile from SCRUFF, rendering it inaccessible from ANY device.
