Your profile must have a clear face pic to be eligible to use SCRUFF Match.

Swipe down if you're not sure. We will ask you again in 24 hours.

SCRUFF Match is powered by the Relationship Status and Open To sections of your profile. Visit your profile settings to make sure you see the kinds of members you’re into.

SCRUFF Singles

If you select Single or Widowed for your relationship status and Relationships in the Open To section of your profile, we’ll only show you members who are single or widowed and open to relationships when you open Match.

You’ll match with members who are looking for dates and relationships with someone like you.

All other members

If you haven’t selected Single or Widowed for relationship status or Relationships in the Open To section of your profile, we’ll only show you members who haven’t selected those things either.

You’ll match with members who are either single or coupled and open/poly and who are looking for fun, dates, chats, or random play.

Changing your preferences

You can update the relationship status or open to section on your profile at any time to change who you see on SCRUFF Match.

SCRUFF systems automatically detect facial features when a profile photo is uploaded. If you encounter profiles in SCRUFF Match that do not have a face pic, please use the report feature to help us improve our facial recognition systems.

To report a profile, tap the report icon report_sm_01.svg in the top right corner of the Match screen.

You can view your Matches anytime by selecting the Matches icon flame.png in the upper right corner of the SCRUFF Match screen.

Blocking works the same in SCRUFF Match as it does in SCRUFF. If you block a profile, it will not be presented in your match stack and your profile will not be presented in his match stack.

All member ratings expire automatically 2 years after the initial rating. Once a rating expires, the selection will no longer be indicated on the member's profile, and any mutual match will no longer be listed in SCRUFF Match.

For example, if you recently matched with a member who rated your profile almost 2 years ago, your mutual match would be removed as soon as the initial rating has reached 2 years.
