Upload, reorder or delete profile photos

Upload up to six public profile photos

  1. Tap Account > Edit profile.
  2. Tap plus.svg to start the photo selection/cropping tool.
  3. Select Photo Source:
    • Camera - take a new photo with your camera to use on your profile
    • Gallery - select a photo from your device's photo library
  4. After taking or selecting a photo, you must crop both the full-size and thumbnail versions of your photo.
  5. Repeat the steps above to add up to 6 public profile photos.
  6. Press Save or Back to exit the profile editor.

Reorder profile photos

  1. Tap Account > Edit profile.
  2. Long press the photo you wish to move.
  3. Drag the photo into the desired position.
  4. After moving your photo into the new position, a loading indicator will appear while the photo move is processed and completed.
  5. Press Save or Back to exit the profile editor.

NOTE

  • All profile photos are reviewed to ensure that they comply with our content guidelines. If there are any issues with your new photo, you will be notified via in-app alert.
  • If your photo is labeled Pending review, it will not be visible in the grids until it has been reviewed and approved by our photo moderation team.
  1. Tap Account > Edit profile.
  2. Tapx.svgon the photo you wish to delete.
  3. Once the deletion process has completed, press Save or Back to exit the profile editor.
  1. Confirm the following:
    1. Your photo is in JPG or PNG format and file size is no larger than 10MB.
    2. You have the latest version of SCRUFF installed.
  2. Restart (power off/power on) your device.
  3. Immediately launch SCRUFF and tap Account > Edit profile.
  4. Tap plus.svg to start the photo selection/cropping tool.
  5. Select the photo source for Camera or Gallery.
  6. After taking or selecting a photo, you must crop both the full-size and the thumbnail versions of your photo.
  7. You will see a loading indicator while the photo is being processed.
  8. Once the photo has been successfully updated, you should receive an alert.

If the above steps do not resolve upload issues, try the following:

  • If using an iOS device, please ensure SCRUFF has access to your iOS Photos
  • If you are connected to SCRUFF using a mobile data (3G/4G) connection, repeat the process above using a WiFi connection, or vice versa
  • Try uploading a different photo
  • Take a screenshot of the photo and upload the screenshot copy to reduce the file size
