Creating and managing albums


Keep your photos and videos safe, organized, and easy to share with Recent, Private, and Collections albums. Albums don’t appear on your public profile — they’re for your own storage, organization, and sharing when you choose.

Create an album 

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums & collections.

  2. In the Albums section, tap (+) Add album.

  3. Enter a name for your album.

  4. Tap Create to finish.


View your albums

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums & collections.

  2. On the My Albums & collections screen, select an album.


Upload photos & videos

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums  & collections..

  2. On the My Albums screen, tap Private Album.

  3. Tap (+) and select a photo or video from your device.

  4. Your media will upload automatically with a visible progress bar.


Share your private and other albums

Your albums are hidden by default. You can share them with specific members from their profile or directly in chat.

From a profile

  1. Go to the member’s profile.

  2. Tap the padlock icon.

  3. Select one or more albums to share. Selected albums will display an unlocked padlock.

  4. Tap Save.

From a chat

  1. While in a chat, tap the padlock icon above the keyboard.

  2. Select the album(s) you’d like to share.

  3. Tap Save.

The member will receive both a push notification and a chat message letting them know you’ve shared your albums.


Unshare your private and other albums

You can remove access at any time — from a profile, in chat, or via your album access list.

From a profile

  1. Go to the member’s profile.

  2. Tap the unlocked padlock icon to remove access.

  3. The icon will change back to locked.

From a chat

  • Padlock menu: While in a chat, tap the padlock icon above the keyboard. Deselect albums you no longer want to share, then tap Save.

  • Shared album message: If you’ve already shared an album in chat, tap the shared album message to open the access list. From there, you can unshare with specific members or lock for all.

From your access list

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums & collections.

  2. Open the album you want to manage.

  3. Tap the padlock (top-right) to see a list of members with access.

  4. Deselect individual members or tap Unshare All to remove access for everyone.


View received albums

There are three ways to view a member's private or shared albums once they’ve shared them with you:

From a profile

  1. Tap the member's profile photo to open their gallery.

  2. By default, you’ll see their public profile photos first.

  3. Tap a thumbnail to view photos or videos, including shared albums.

From received albums

  1. Tap Inbox Message in the bottom menu bar.

  2. Tap the Albums tab to view members who have shared albums with you.

  3. Locate the profile you want, then tap to open their shared album content.

From a shared album message in chat

  • When someone shares an album with you in chat, you’ll see a shared album message appear directly in the conversation.

  • Tap the album message to open the gallery view of the shared content.


Edit photos & videos

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums & collections.

  2. Tap Private Album or other albums.

  3. Tap a photo/video thumbnail to open it.

  4. Tap Menu or long-press to see options:

    • Edit Caption – Add or edit a caption.

    • Save to device – Save your own media to your phone.

    • Move – Move the item to another album.


Delete photos & videos

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums.

  2. Open Private Album (or another album).

  3. Tap (X) on the photo/video thumbnail.

  4. Tap Confirm Delete to remove it.


Rename an album

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums & collections.

  2. Open Private Album or any other album.

  3. Tap Menu → Rename.

  4. Update the album name.

  5. Tap Rename to save your changes.


Delete an album

  1. Tap the Account icon → Albums & collections.

  2. Open Private Album or any other album.

  3. Remove all media first (tap (X) on each thumbnail, then confirm).

  4. Tap Menu → Delete.

  5. Confirm deletion to permanently remove the album.


Recent & collections

Recent Album
  • Shows recently sent photos and videos across all your devices.

  • Free members can send the last 2 items.

  • Pro members can send unlimited recent items.

Collections (Pro)

  • Pro members can create and access additional albums for organizing photos and videos.

  • Collections sync across devices and provide a discreet alternative to your phone’s photo gallery.

  • You can share your own photos or videos from a collection in chat using the Albums & collections icon.

Notes

  • Free members can share their Private Album with up to 20 profiles. Pro members: unlimited.

  • Unlocking your album shares all photos/videos inside (not individual ones).

  • Colored album icons appear on profiles that have shared with you.

  • Free members: see the 20 most recently shared albums and the 15 most recent received. Pro members: full history.

  • Visibility of shared albums depends on membership:

    • Pro → sees all content.

    • Free → sees profile photos + 2 items from the shared album.
